Madame Tussauds Las Vegas - her famous wax museums are found all over the world with the Las Vegas location being quite fun and easy to get to. It is located just outside Venetion across the pedestrian walkway right on the strip. This wax museum is special because you are allowed to touch the figures and get up close and personal. This makes for great pictures and fun. Kelly and I visited with our Vegas friends and had a blast, for cheap fun while van camping the big city consider this for a fun day.

Some of the wax figures include Elvis, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Tiger Woods, Britany Spears, Bono, President Bush, Ben Franklin, George Washington, Arnold Schwarznegger, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and about 50 more. Artists take hundreds of measurements using calipers and computer scans to work from when creating the initial size and shape of the metal frame that ends up holding the highly detailed and often stunningly authentic wax replicas.

The Madame Tussauds Las Vegas has a small haunted house complete with live monsters and scary people that jump out at you. Walking through the scary house takes only 5 minutes and it does get your adrenaline going a bit. There is also a section in the middle where you can join in with the Blue Man Group at Madame Tussauds see video and play along with them on PVC pipe drums.

Groups can experience this unique Las Vegas Strip attraction for a discount. Madame Tussauds has over 100 lifelike wax figures and a few interactive experiences to explore and groups like corporate, students/camps, bachelor/bachelorette parties and high school reunions of ten or more get a discount. Typically special rates are available by advanced booking only. You can also use the house wedding gown to "marry" George Clooney for another fun photo opp at Madame Tussauds in Vegas.
