Pools in Las Vegas are a great reason to come here for your vacation. They can be the centerpiece of a hotel and the management goes out of its way to make your stay there incredible. Pool parties start early and can go past sunset. For Mediterranean style and comfort visit one of 5 pools or 4 Jacuzzis at the Bellagio. They are open all year around, though hours may vary. These pools sit on an enormous 15 acres which include water slides, grottos for shade, tennis courts and pool parties. The pools at the MGM Grand keep in the Hollywood style with names like the Backlot, the Talent and the Director's pool. There are 4 pools, 3 whirlpools and a lazy river that's a quarter mile long. Water volleyball is played in the summer.
The pools at Caesar's Palace are fit for a Roman emperor and empress. Lined with fountains, columns and sculptures it's hard to believe you're in the dessert. Delicious fruits and cocktails are served here. Well equipped cabanas are available for rent. The Tropicana has one of the best Las Vegas pool areas: lush lagoons and waterfalls surround 3 pools and 3 Jacuzzis. The Tropics Pool Bar offers swim-up blackjack. You'll be able to find some shade in the dining areas and bars. The environment is peaceful and charming. Only guests staying at the Wynn are allowed to use their pools. There's an assortment of pools: Two pools and Jacuzzis on the main deck, 1 European style (topless) pool on the upper deck and 2 private pools exclusively for guests of the Tower Suites. Families will enjoy kid-friendly pools at the Circus Circus with 3 pools to stay refreshed in, or the Excalibur with its water slide, huge pools and hot tubs. Open 10am to 4pm, the Lagoon pool at the Monte Carlo is a great place to relax. The Lagoon pool sits on a 21,000 square foot pool area, and offers a kiddies pool, spa, wave pool, easy river ride as well as tennis courts. A Las Vegas pool that's considered to be one of the best is the Mandalay Bay Beach. Its 11 acre pool area has 3 pools, 1 wave pool, a lazy river, a jogging track and 2,700 tons of beach sand. There's even a Beach Concert Series May through September with famous pop singers like Pat Benatar and Chicago. Insider Secret - Lounge chairs and chaises can RARELY be reserved at pools in Vegas, so get there early for your favorite spot in the sun. Caesar's Palace has 4 pools and 2 whirlpools. All pools are decorated in a Roman style, with marble, mosaics and columns. The Temple pool is 10,000 square feet and comes with poolside drink service. The Neptune pool is for lap swimming and is also conveniently located next to the bar. Cabanas are available for rent and include a stocked refrigerator, TV, table and plush lounge chairs.
There's also a bar and café for food and drinks. Maintenance and repairs are always scheduled in December. The MGM Grand has 5 themed pools each one with a different movie theme; plus 3 whirlpools and a river. At least 1 pool and 1 whirlpool are open every day. The pool complex is in a tropical island setting complete with waterfalls, bridges and fountains. For adults only, be aware that the pools at some places are topless pools: Beach Club 25 at the Stratosphere with reasonably priced drinks; the extravagant, private pool at the Wynn; Tao Beach at the Venetian; the Venus pool at Caesar's Palace; Bare pool at the Mirage and Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay.
