Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas has an excellent location. It's in the middle of the Strip across the street from the Paris and the Planet Hollywood, formerly the Aladdin casinos. You can easily walk to the other casinos and if you need a drugstore during your stay, Walgreen's and CVS are nearby.

The rooms at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas are sumptuous and the staff aim to please. You can choose between guest rooms, suites and private villas depending on your budget. Always ask for a room with a view of the fountains. That's part of the charm of staying at the Bellagio and sometimes it may not cost you any more. It's one of the most popular Las Vegas casinos.

The Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas displays a fountain show which is synchronized to music. Everyone I've ever asked raves about the food and service at the Bellagio. I've eaten at the Bellagio buffet and it's the best in town. You can gorge yourself on the large king crab legs for an hour. And it's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I recommend you get there early or send someone to stand in line for you otherwise the wait can be up to an hour or more.

For fine dining, Prime Steakhouse is excellent. Picasso is also a very sophisticated restaurant. Other fine dining includes: Jasmine on the lake, the award-winning Le Cirque, Shintaro with a Far East influence, Circo a Tuscany experience and Michael Mina with Mediterranean flavors. Just to show you the Bellagio doesn't kid around, they have 17 sommeliers and two master sommeliers on hand. But if you're on the go, the Bellagio has at least six other restaurants for casual dining. Olives and Noodles are very popular.

The Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas has world-class shopping with shops and boutiques at Via Bellagio, Via Fiore shops, Pool Promenade shops, the Lobby shops and the 'O' store. In the Via Bellagio, you have all the classic stores like Prada, Hermes, Tiffany, Yves St. Laurent, Fendi, Gucci, Armani and more. In the Lobby shops, you can find Judith Lieber bags, Guerlain fragrances, and jewelry, belts and sunglasses by Kieselstein-Cord.

You've probably already heard about the Bellagio pools and courtyards where you can see the beautiful people wading in the pools, eating at the garden café, or getting poolside massages. Private cabanas are available as well. Pools are heated all year but the hours are seasonal.

Entertainment at the Bellagio is also first-class. "Cirque du Soleil's" 'O' performs twice a night except Mondays and Tuesdays. The Caramel Bar and Lounge is a very relaxing place to have drinks after the show. The Bank is a progressive nightclub with a glassed-in dance floor that is the focus point of the club. Great for people watching and celebrity sightings. If you want to have an experience that's a cut above the rest, definitely stay at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Of course when I'm in Vegas I'm typically here for a month or two (see the book) and only spend in 60 days what most spend in a week.

Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas NV has some of the best food on the Strip and it is one of the most famous Las Vegas casinos.You'll be entertained by the largest outdoor ballet of fountains and lights dancing every half hour to opera, jazz and Broadway music in Lake Bellagio. The fountains have been featured in several movies like Lucky You and Ocean's Thirteen with Brad Pitt and George Clooney. You'll also find the view of the Strip and the mountains from your hotel room picture-perfect.

In terms of dining at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, NV, the buffet is one of the best in town. But get there early otherwise you can be in line for over an hour. It's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. It has an amazing array of Japanese, Chinese, Italian and American dishes as well as live cooking and carving stations with the finest meats. Dining at the Bellagio also includes fine dining. You have seven luxury restaurants to choose from: Circo, Jasmine, Le Cirque, Michael Mina, Picasso, Prime Steakhouse and Shintaro.

Le Cirque is the most prestigious restaurant at the Bellagio headed by the world-renowned Sirio Maccioni. It received the AAA Five Diamond Award in 2006 and is designed like a very elegant circus. Make sure you try the lobster salad with black truffle dressing.

You won't believe the ambiance at Prime Steakhouse. t's designed in a luxurious 1930's speakeasy style with Baccarat chandeliers.

The Bellagio Hotel changes their conservatory four times a year to match the seasons. The spectacular displays that the Bellagio horticulturists create is worth visiting those four times a year.

The acrobats and swimmers are of Olympic quality performing in "O" the Cirque aquatic show spectacular. It's a breathtaking show performed on, in and above sparkling laser lit water in an 1,800+ seat European style opera house.

I like Caramel Bar and Lounge because its easy to get to lounge and low commitment. It has an intimate upscale atmosphere with a lineup of 80's tunes, Rat Pack, and Rolling Stones music. Also Bellagio has The Bank, a massive wild Las Vegas nightclubs.

Many are surprised to find famous artwork in Las Vegas but the Bellagio boasts its Gallery of Fine Art. Conceived by Steve Wynn who started the Bellagio in 1998, he placed his private collection in the gallery including original works by Degas, Monet and Picasso.

A very impressive fountain show synchronized to music going on in front of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas as my daughter and I pose for it. Take your eyes off the entertainment of lights and water to make a beautiful picture.

For more than just a night's stay, the Bellagio has nine different suites to choose from. They are so well architectured and decorated you'll feel very much at home. Suites range in size from 850 square feet to 4,000 square feet. In addition to your bedroom, guest bedrooms, living rooms, private dining rooms, indoor solariums, his and her bathrooms, whirlpool tubs and more are available depending on which suite you choose.

Of course it goes without saying that views of the Bellagio fountains are available with the suites. Additional amenities include VIP seats for 'O', the "Cirque du Soleil" show at the Bellagio and choice seating for any of the MGM Mirage shows, clubs and restaurants.

If you really want to be pampered, the villas are waiting for you. But they are reserved by invitation only and are limited in availability. They are completely private with their own entrances. Butler service is available 24 hours. Amenities include a full bar, cedar closet, salon, dry and steam sauna, your own private pool and sauna, fireplace, 40 inch plasma TV, internet access, surround sound in the home theater entertainment system, beautiful European style furniture and much more.

The Bellagio Hotel and Casino chocolate fountain has dark, milk, and white chocolate pumped several feet above the chocolate store through to the ceiling and then back down, all set behind glass so you can watch this display go round and round.

Overview: Bellagio serves first class world travelers as an elegant sophisticated resort offering both standard rooms and suites. Many believe this is the best Vegas offers for the high brows though I think naming a top hotel casino this way would be difficult with all the variations on service, amenities like show choices, bars, free activities, price, etc.

Restaurants: I highly recommend my favorite gourmet buffet of all time in Vegas for DINNER at the Bellagio Buffet, plus other restaurants include Café Bellagio and Café Gelato for small quick delights, and some like Circo, FIX, Jasmine, Yellowtail Sushi Restaurant & Bar, Jean-Philippe Pâtisserie, Le Cirque, Todd English's Olives. For the most serious of dinners make reservations at Le Cirque which won the rare AAA Five-Diamond Award serving French cuisine.

Casino: 120,000+ square feet, including Blackjack, Caribbean Stud Poker, Craps, Keno, Let It Ride, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Poker, Roulette, more than 3,000 slot machines, and a popular first class poker room, plush race sports book room has seating for 200 people with 140+ TV's and 4 giant screens for viewing big events.
Entertainment: "O" Cirque du Soleil show almost completely on water in an 1,800-seat showroom is worth experiencing, make reservations early.
Extras: Free conservatory changes every season, world's largest chocolate fountains, Bellagio fountain show on the strip is free and best at night, and the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art is the real deal.
Pools: acres of tropical action with 5 pools and numerous outdoor hottubs.
Health Club or Spa: Huge first class service in 50+ rooms at the spa plus 6,500+ square feet of fitness facilities, exercise rooms and pro salon.
Shopping: 11 specialty shops in Bellagio, first class but selection is limited so check out this list for serious shopping.
Wedding chapel: numerous packages offered through the Wedding Chapel at Bellagio including an Italian balcony style wedding above fountains.

Pets allowed: No
Parking garage: 4 story free indoor parking garage but I recommend valet
Shuttle service to the airport: back and forth to the airport by a private companies, take a cab unless you are real short on cash.
Shuttle service to Strip: Bellagio is ON the strip, no shuttle needed

For casual dining, the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, NV offers five other popular restaurants. At Olives you'll find home-made pastas and brick oven pizzas. If you're in the mood for exotic far-eastern food, then head over to Noodles. Dim-sum is served on the weekends. They even have noodles etched into the marble floor for fun. Fix has all-American fries and burgers made in a wood-burning grill and Sensi prepares grilled Italian and Asian seafoods. Café Bellagio is open 24/7 with a view of the Botanical Gardens.

When you're ready for dessert, head over to the Jean-Philippe Patisserie behind the Botanical Garden room. Your mouth will start watering when you see the 27 foot fountains of white, caramel-colored and dark chocolate flowing behind the clear glass windows. They are the tallest chocolate fountains in the world using 2,700 lbs of chocolates! When we're camping Vegas we ALWAYS visit Bellagio!
