QUESTION: Hi Jason, I just finished reading your Vanabode book on my new iPad (it was my first one). I love the whole concept and wish I could head out tomorrow. I have a restaurant which I would need to sell. My house has no mortgage so that is easy. When you get the network going, people can stay at our place, we have 20 acres in Cedar Key, FL which is a great attractive place for RVers and it's off the beaten path. I intend to begin Vanaboding as soon as I sell the business. Also, I have an RV that I need to sell and have not had any luck. I hope to hear from you with suggestions. MY ANSWER: If you really want to travel, you will sell the restaurant OR employ someone to run it for you for a couple years. Being mortgage free is fantastic! Make sure you enjoy it and use it to your advantage rather than being HOOKED to the house (if you really want to travel). Remember as Vanabode explains, you may have many possessions but you only have a very limited amount of time left. I am sorry to hear you are having trouble selling the motorhome.
RV's are hard to sell and that is one of the reasons Vanaboding
is superior. I developed a website that covers some of these issues
years ago when I used to travel and live full time in a 34 foot
Class A Georgie Boy. These pages may help you... |
